mindsetCan EFT® and Tapping really help me increase my sales?

That is a great question and I’m here to tell you emphatically, the answer is YES. I will share with you in a moment a more technical definition of EFT, a/k/a Tapping.  First I want to ask that you keep an open mind and know that this simple technique has assisted me, many of my clients, and hundreds of other business owners achieve new levels of comfort, skill and success in all aspects of the sales process.

The following is an excerpt from Nick Ortner's book:  The Tapping Solution:  A Revolutionary System For Stress-Free Living

“Tapping is a combination of ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. What tapping does, with amazing efficiency is halt the fight-or-flight response and reprogram the brain and body to act and react differently.

Science has established that the stress response begins in the amygdala. The almond shaped amygdala is one of the components of the limbic system, or midbrain. The limbic system is the source of emotions and long-term memory, and it’s where negative experiences are encoded.

3 MINDSET AND EFT PAGE IMAGEThe amygdala has been called the body’s smoke detector. It signals the brain to mobilize the body in the fight-or-flight response. An early negative experience can program the amygdala to raise the alarm when something similar triggers it in the future. Remember, the body does not distinguish between an actual threat and what the amygdala perceives as a threat.

Though we are not sure why, tapping seems to turn off the amygdala’s alarm – deactivating the brain’s arousal pathways. Tapping on the meridian end points sends a calming response to the body, and the amygdala recognizes that it’s safe. What’s more, tapping while experiencing – or even discussing – a stressful event counteracts that stress and reprograms the amygdala’s response to it in the future. The amygdala learns not to set off the alarm, you remain calm.”

Although EFT has produced impressive results for many people, the field of energy work is still considered experimental. It is not a substitute for medical or psychological assistance. I offer this information as an EFT Practitioner, not as a medical professional or licensed therapist.
